Cables delighted to announce Craig Davies as new manager

The Prescot Cables board of directors are pleased to announce the appointment of Craig Davies as first team manager with immediate effect.

The board were impressed with the plans that Craig has for the team, and he really impressed us throughout his interview. His passion and determination really shone through and we would like to welcome him back to the club where he started out as a youth player with Kev Jones, as the new first team manager. We hope you will all support Craig in his new role and we hope to get you all back watching some football very soon.

At 31 years old, Craig is a young and ambitious coach, with coaching experience across the UK as well as abroad.

Craig has most recently been a 1st team coach at Widnes having relocated back to Prescot and currently is employed as an academy coach with LFC.

Craig had this to say ‘‘I’m delighted to accept the role as first team manager at Prescot Cables FC. Being a local lad, it’s great honour to be given a fantastic opportunity, trust and backing by the club to take us forward. The work starts right away to ensure we are competing at the right end of the table. I’m looking forward to meeting the players and fans as we come together to bring success back to this football club. The fans will see an exciting brand of football, modern approaches and a real enthusiastic, passionate, hungry and attack minded football team. Look forward to meeting you all soon. Up the pesky bulls”.

We are all excited for the upcoming season and can’t wait to see you all!
