Prescot Cables v City of Liverpool – Behind Closed Doors

Following on from todays announcement from the Prime Minister and ongoing discussions with Knowsley Council and the Northern Premier League, we feel that the best option for tomorrow nights Pitching In Northern Premier League game with City of Liverpool is that it should take place behind closed doors.

We expect discussions to carry on over the coming days between Knowsley council, Sir George Howarth MP and The Northern Premier League to see how the club moves forward and the format games will take place in whilst the Tier 3 lockdown measures are in place.

We would like to put on record our thanks to The Northern Premier League, Knowsley Council and Sir George Howarth MP for their continued support and help in these difficult times.

Its not ideal to have our game behind closed doors but our supporters safety is paramount.

We will provide further details in the coming days regarding the up coming fixtures.

Season ticket refunds will be discussed in the coming days once we have had further discussions with Knowsley Council.

Please note that we are all volunteers and this is an extremely busy and unprecedented time for us all so we may take longer to reply to your messages through our social media channels.
