Prescot Cables Football Club is delighted to welcome exciting young forward Nabil Rahim to the IP Truck Parts Stadium.
Although he is only 18, Nabil has a lot of experience for a player of his age, having spent time in the academies of both Wigan Athletic and Brazilian giants Cruzeiro Esporte. In addition, Nabil has trialled in the Netherlands with Volendam, Portuguese club Anadia and Turkish giants Fenerbahce and Galatasaray. Born in Liverpool, Nabil is taking his first steps into senior football with the Pesky Bulls and his signing is a coup for the club.
Nabil Rahim is looking forward to the new campaign, stating: “I have joined the club because the manager is somebody I have respect for and want to play for. I hope to move forward with the club, gaining important experience and vastly improving my game. Prescot Cables are steeped in history and I can’t wait to be part of the club to challenge for success as well as developing my own career.”
Manager Craig Davies was ebullient after securing Rahim’s signature: “Nabil is a phenomenal young talent with a really bright future ahead of him. For an 18-year-old, he possess lightening pace, the ability to be direct and take people on as well as having excellent finishing ability. Nabil is somebody that will get our fans excited every time he plays. We are delighted he has chosen to commit his immediate future to the football club.”
